As a convenience to callers A2 Global Shipping provides the toll free number   877-899-SHIP (7447) where the caller will receive a simple SMS with a link to a relevant web page.  Prior to being sent the SMS, the caller can opt out of the single SMS by selecting extension 1 or proceed and authorize the SMS with the selection of extension 9.    The purpose of the SMS is to inform the caller of information that is also in the Auto Attendant but to provide it to them in form of weblink to their cellphone to ensure the accuracy of the communication. 

A2 Global Shipping uses the SMS and Auto Attendant to screen out many of the automated sales calls that it receives daily that can be disruptive to our agents who are providing information on shipping options to clients.   We do not collect the phone numbers of all inbound callers for the purpose of mass text marketing.   We use text to confirm that the client receives an email as in a emailed quote and communications concerning their shipment and additional options.
